What are the dimensions of the porch of our will?

Ezekiel 41:2 - And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.

In today's message the Lord is again bringing up the matter of our heart or inner-man. Today He is touching on one area of the inner-man and that is our will or the throne area.

In Bible numerics man is associated with the number 5 and you will find all things of man is 5 like 5 senses, 5 openings in the head even the inner-man or soul of man has 5 parts.

It is because of this structure of our inner-man that the books of Moses are divided in five parts. Even the book of Psalms is put in order according to the books of Moses and was originally in 5 parts, named after the books of Moses. They define to us the functioning of each part of the heart or inner-man:-

1) Conscience - The Book of Genesis - Psalms (1-41) The Genesis Book
2) The Mind - The Book of Exodus - Psalms (42-72) The Exodus Book
3) The Throne - The Book of Leviticus - Psalms (73-89) The Leviticus Book
4) The Nature - The Book of Numbers - Psalms (90-106) The Numbers Book
5) The Pump - The Book of Deuteronomy - Psalms (107-150) The Deuteronomy Book

We are called the Tabernacle of God this includes the physical body and also the inner-man.

The most important area is the Throne area which we know are our will and in the Tabernacle was the real sanctuary - the Holy place and the Holy of Holies.

In today's message the Lord talks to us on the dimensions of the porch to this Throne area which is our will.

Before I get to the message I will also touch on the symbolism of the other numbers without going into details.

10 symbolizes Commandments
40 symbolizes earthy life for 4 is associated with this world
20 symbolizes the period man goes through being redeemed

It is because of these numeric symbolisms that we will understand the reasons why God gave only 10 Commandments written to Moses while Jesus spoke of 2 but after receiving the Holy Spirit every instruction of Him is a Commandment to us.
It will also reason Moses and Jesus chose to fast for forty days at a stretch and Israel roamed the desert for 40 years.
People think Jesus started His ministry at the age of 30 from the time of His symbolic baptism in water and Spirit. They forget the years Jesus spent ministering before, for people knew Him before that. Historic documents record 6 to 7 years of His ministering. Jesus being 100 per cent man studied scriptures like we do and according to Jewish traditions at that time it started at the age of 20 for that was the time of being dedicated to the Temple work.

In today's message the Lord is asking us the way to most important part of our hearts wherein He is supposed to be seated if it based on fulfilling His Commandments all our earthly life till we are redeemed and part of His Temple.

If we want God to be seated on the Throne of our hearts then we need to make sure our approach should be to keep His Commandments throughout our life other than this there is no other way. Repentance is the start of setting the structure of heart according to the Lord.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, we are supposed to be the Temple in which your glory dwells but we and other people do not experience this glory because most of us have not prepared our hearts according to your will. Help us repent from the life we are living and help us set the entrance to the Holy place in our hearts according to thy Commandments...

This we ask in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
